Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you want to know before your first visit.
General
What is Maintenance Bar?
Maintenance Bar is a med spa in Seattle's SODO neighborhood specializing in injectables, skin health treatments, and wellness services. Founded in 2020 by Megan Bedker, ARNP, Maintenance Bar focuses on customized treatment plans built around each patient's unique facial anatomy — not cookie-cutter protocols.
Where is Maintenance Bar located?
3250 Airport Way South, Suite 720, Seattle, WA 98134. Our SODO clinic has free building parking and is accessible from I-5 (exit 163A) and I-90 (exit 3A). Get directions →
What makes Maintenance Bar different from other Seattle med spas?
Three things: customized treatment plans that combine injectables and skin health (not one or the other), provider continuity (the same team knows your face at every visit), and an education-first approach (we explain the why before recommending the what).
Do I need a referral to visit Maintenance Bar?
No referral needed. New patients book a consultation directly. Call 206-678-0636 or schedule online.
Consultations
What happens during a consultation at Maintenance Bar?
Your provider assesses your facial anatomy — bone structure, skin laxity, volume distribution, and muscle movement patterns. We discuss your concerns, goals, and treatment history. Then we explain what we'd recommend and why — with zero pressure to proceed same-day.
How long is a consultation?
Initial consultations at Maintenance Bar typically run 30-45 minutes. We don't rush. The assessment and education phase is what sets your entire treatment plan up for success.
Do I have to get treated on my first visit?
No. Many Maintenance Bar patients use their first visit for consultation only and return to start treatment when they're ready. We'd rather you feel confident than pressured.
How much does a consultation cost?
Consultation pricing details are available when you book. Call Maintenance Bar at 206-678-0636 for current consultation rates.
Can I bring a friend to my consultation?
Absolutely. Many Maintenance Bar patients bring a friend or partner to their first visit. Your provider will walk through everything the same way — no awkward sales tactics to worry about.
Treatments
What treatments does Maintenance Bar offer?
Injectables (Botox, Dysport, Jeuveau, dermal fillers, Sculptra, Kybella), skin treatments (microneedling, chemical peels, DiamondGlow®, Skinvive™), laser and RF (CoolPeel™, Deka CO2, Virtue RF, Sofwave™), PRP hair restoration, filler dissolving, and hormone optimization. See our full service menu →
How do I know which treatment I need?
That's exactly what your consultation is for. Most patients arrive at Maintenance Bar unsure of what they need — often because of conflicting information from social media. Your provider evaluates your specific anatomy and concerns, then recommends the treatments that will actually deliver results.
Does Maintenance Bar do treatment plans?
Treatment plans are central to how we work. Maintenance Bar sequences the right treatments in the right order across a realistic timeline — so results build progressively instead of relying on one standalone appointment.
Are results natural-looking?
Natural results are Maintenance Bar's standard. Our providers enhance your existing features — never reshape you into someone else. Patients consistently describe looking "refreshed, not different."
How long do injectable results last?
Timeline varies by treatment. Botox and neurotoxins typically last 3-4 months. Dermal fillers last 6-18 months depending on product and placement area.
Sculptra results can last two years or more. Your Maintenance Bar provider maps a maintenance schedule during your consultation.
Can I combine multiple treatments in one visit?
Often, yes. Maintenance Bar providers frequently pair injectables with skin treatments in a single appointment when clinically appropriate. Your treatment plan will outline which combinations work best for your goals and timeline.
